In this episode, we are joined by Karen Lloyd, Manager of Equality Jamaica’s Welfare and Social Support Service Portfolio.
Equality Jamaica advocates for the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and other sexual and gender minorities in Jamaica.
Karen shares some of the findings of the Mystery Shoppers study conducted to assess the impact of training provided to healthcare workers since 2013. This training looks at sex and sexuality, medical-related information, soft skills (how to ask certain questions and engage with different kinds of people).
